SPEED COMPETITION 2009 On Saturday 5 September 2009 the sprinters spring into action for the XXII edition of the Speed competition in Arco.

The vertical sprinters spring into action on Saturday eveing and here speed reigns supreme. Motivated by the passionate spectators the athletes fly from hold to hold, climbing the slightly overhanging 15m wall in just seconds. On this International Federation approved track the competitors will not only race for the title, they will also attempt to beat last July's  world records set by the Chinese athletes Qixin Zhong (6.64) and Cuilian He (9.04). Speed competitioon - XXII edition when: Saturday 5 September (start 22,30) where: Climbing Stadium Arco, central wall formula: Head to head, sudden death competition on two identical, parallel routes.
